When the rights reverted to me, I shelved the MS until recently, when dtp became available to Canadians through Amazon
With only a pdf to go by, I uploaded the ebook. However, it has only recently come to my attention (through a reviewer on Amazon UK....thank you X) that there are some issues with weird numbers. Upon inspection, I discovered those numbers to be the original pdf page numbers assigned to the book.
As of March 30, 2011, those number issues should be cleaned from the MS and a small adjustment of English label chapter headings have been written in to help with the Table of Contents.
I thank each purchaser of Pray for Reign and apologize for any formatting issues you may have encountered. I am working to ajdust the formatting and appreciate it when someone notifies me of any issues I can fix.
Pray for Reign is an early book written when I was very much a history buff. I enjoyed the research and the places it took my mind when things were not offered as pure fact. For example: I read in my research that it was possible Anne might have met Leonardo da Vinci as they were at French court at the same time. I also found it interesting that one of Anne's wardresses in tower was surnamed: Coffyn.
Most of the history is accurate: some is my own imagination. I do hope you enjoy the story.I've been fortunate enough to publish in lit journals across the UK, the US and my home country of Canada. I've written for pay and I've written for passion. I much prefer passion, but it's nice when the two collide. I have an agent who likes me and likes my work despite the dark places I like to investigate. She asked me once, why do you write about dark things, and my answer was, "Because I want to shed some light." Not sure I always do, but I sure like to try. Read more
